Crafters Showcase Sponsorship Program: Dear Business Owner, Are new customers important to your business? Do you know the lifetime value of your customers? If I could provide you with a low cost way to generate new local customers on a consistent basis, would you be interested? Hi my name is Gary Wain. My wife Shelley and I are the owners of Crafters Showcase Inc. Crafters Showcase is a "Craft Mall" which simply means that we rent space to craft vendors & sell their wares for them. We have been in our Pleasant Hills, Southland Shopping Center location since 1992. Our 6,700 sq. ft. retail store is made up of hundreds of permanent display booths, each occupied by an independent craft business owner. Each booth in the store is designed and decorated by the individual craft vendor. This setup is similar to a "Craft Show" without the Crafter manning the booth. The customer simply brings their purchases to the front counter to checkout. In an effort to help our crafters expand their retail businesses, we have implemented a new sponsorship program. We are allowing our crafters the opportunity to lower their monthly rental costs by sharing a portion of their booth with a corporate sponsor. As the corporate sponsor, your company will benefit in several ways: 1. You will have the satisfaction of knowing that you are financially supporting a local crafter. Your monthly sponsorship fee will help lower their monthly overhead thus providing them with working capital to help grow their business. 2. Besides helping a local crafter, you'll receive advertising benefits that attract customers in 6 different ways. Your benefits begin with a company sponsorship sign displayed in the crafter's booth along with a "take one" display featuring your company brochure. This information will be presented to our customers 72hrs/7 days per week. The majority of our customers' visit every booth in the store. When they come upon your booth they will be exposed to you billboard sign as well as your "take one" brochure. The cost of the sponsorship is only $7.50/linear ft. per week. Using our example of a 4 foot booth (larger sizes available), your total cost would be only $30/wk. Compare that to the cost of a general print ad in one of the local classified circulars. I'm currently running a weekly ad in one and it costs me a minimum of $250/wk! And that's sent to a general population where only a small percentage of those readers will even see my ad let alone read it &/or take action. Our Customer demographic is more targeted. It consists mainly of married female homeowners age 23 to retirement years. They enjoy spending time in our store shopping for home decor or finding the perfect gift for family and friends. They have time and money to spend and walk up and down every aisle making sure that they don't miss a thing, and by doing so they will be exposed to your company information. That means for only $30 per week you will not only have the satisfaction of helping a local crafter, but you will expose your company to 100's of daily targeted customers, 7 days per week. If you know the lifetime value of your customer, chances are one new customer generated through our program will cover the program costs for an entire year! That alone should be enough to convince you that this program is worth doing. But we want to be sure that you're convinced, so we've added an extra incentive. Every time one of our customers does business with you, we will give them a 10% discount on their entire Crafters Showcase purchase! This way, if the customer is in need of your product or service they will choose you over your competition in order to save on their next Crafters Showcase purchase. That describes our Bronze level sponsorship. For those of you who like what you see but want more than the entry level benefits, we have 2 higher level sponsorships available: The Silver and Gold Level Sponsorships. The Silver Level Sponsorship includes everything in the Bronze level plus two additional benefits. First, we will add your company promotions to our customer opt-in e-mail campaign. Our customers' signup to receive e-mail notices from us. They look forward to receiving our sales information. Your company promotions will be added to these notifications. Secondly, you will also receive a personalized web page ad &/or link on our store website directory at www.shopcrafters.com to your site. The cost of the Silver membership is very reasonable. You get 2 more effective ways to expose you company to our customers for only an additional $5 per week. That's right only $5/wk, putting your total cost at a mere $35/wk. Compared to a general population, non-targeted print ad at $250/wk you're doing very well. The remaining benefits are part of the Gold Level Sponsorship. For an additional $7.50 per week you will receive all the benefits of the Bronze and Silver levels plus two very valuable additions. First, we will add your company promotions to our customer "bag stuffing" program. When a customer makes a purchase, we add promotional materials to their bags. This is a great way to get your company promotions in the hands of your future customers. The final Gold level benefit is access to our demonstration counter. You can use this counter to do live product demonstrations or giveaways to help promote your business. To sum up the program, you get the satisfaction of helping a local crafter grow their business, while helping your business attract new quality targeted customers on a daily basis. All for the amazingly low price of only $30 - $42.50 per week. I'm sure you'll agree that compared to you current advertising budget $30-$42.50/wk is not a lot of money and when you compare it to the many benefits that we offer, it's definitely worth the money.
